It seems anytime you are putting something online there is an “about” section to it. Websites, facebook, myspace…and here it is again on a blog – wordpress. I never know really what to say on here because I feel like I am supposed to be original or something so people will continue to read or even think I am funny.
So what I am going to say is that I find typing helps me process some of things I might be thinking or musing. Nothing flash, nothing new. If through my pondering, you find it helpful to enter into dialogue…..great. If not and would just like to read some things, that is fine to. In any case, I am going to try to be as honest as I can on here so if you do want to write, please be as honest as you can as well.
The reason I have chosen this as the title for this new blog has to do with a saying from the ancient rabbis. I learned there was and still is a blessing to disciples who would follow their rabbis. They would bless them by saying, “May you be covered in the dust of your rabbi.” This meaning, may you be walking so close and following so intently, that you would literally have the dust of your rabbi’s feet all over you at the end of the day.
I long for this in regards to Jesus Christ. I am hooked. I am all in if you are playing texas hold em. Regardless of where Christ takes me, I want to be able to be covered in his dust. The questions he posses, the concepts he speaks of, and the values he claims….all point to ultimate reality. I want to learn what it looks like and how I live it out today.
I actually want to struggle. If some of the things I struggle with on here are things which you find yourself struggling with as well, maybe we can wrestle together. Maybe we can help one another and spur one another on. Maybe you have better questions, if so please let me know.
In any rate, I am going to be doing a great deal of random things on here as well so feel free to comment on anything.

Hey Josh. You might want to start by putting a bit about yourself and your motivation for writting the blog in the first place. Then maybe you could add a head shot so we all have something to aim at when were looking at your blog site. Then start writting. Cheers brother, Gods peace and blessings.
Shane.

Hi Josh
Great to see you on WordPress – I’ve just blogrolled you, RSS’d you and now chastised you for not telling me you were here.
